How we got here is not how we will get there.

How one frames a problem determines how one solves it.

Autonomy, competence, relatedness. Yeah... let’s build a school around those ideas.

We encounter so many great ideas each day. It is sad they are not always true. Even worse, many leaders can’t always spot the ones that are not true.

I just finished reading a scientist's view of science. the author demonstrated they can be dumb about science too.

“Large, hierarchical, controlled systems are failing us now.” Maybe.

We revert to monitor, reward, punish because it is familiar. It doesn’t work to improve performance, but that doesn’t stop us... I mean it doesn’t stop you. I choose to work and create in reasonable communities and organizations.

“That is interesting, but irrelevant.” This seems sharp criticism when you think about it.

If the fascinating questions are those we don’t know how to answer, then we have the foundation of a curriculum.
