Mr Penguin

How you know you've won: So I was reading an email from the Free State Project's director about an entertaining incident he had encountered the other day. He was at a small cafe in Dover alongside a ton of other free staters (just so coincidentally packing the cafe, apparently independent of one another) when a group of politicians rolled in. These politicians were democrats and sat down to have a meeting of some kind. Well, while holding this meeting they could be overheard complaining about all the free staters who’d been moving in. They were complaining about being surrounded by free staters. This isn’t really anything new, but what is humorous is that they were apparently unaware of the fact they were completely surrounded by free staters in the cafe.

Later it was pointed out on social media that the former Maine senator Eric Brakey who is now the Free State Project’s executive director was in the background of a picture that the democrats took of the meeting and posted to social media.

The left in New Hampshire isn’t wrong when they complain libertarians and free staters have taken over the state. The house is at around 100 libertarians currently and for the first time ever we have 5 libertarians in the senate too! This is 100 out of 400 in the state house and I think it’s 5 out of 24 in the senate. Every two years the number of republicans and democrats in the senate and house decline and the libertarians take their place! Where else in the world do you see successes like these? We don’t “own” New Hampshire yet, but we are getting closer every day and it’s plain as day to see why the left and right are complaining.
