I don&#39;t like much early 2000s <a href="https://social.freetalklive.com/tags/TV" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>TV</span></a> soundtracks, although the oddly specific style tends to be relegated to intro music (two examples of this are <a href="https://social.freetalklive.com/tags/NCIS" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>NCIS</span></a>&#39; theme in S01 and <a href="https://social.freetalklive.com/tags/Flashpoint" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Flashpoint</span></a>&#39;s theme in S01). But the composition during the episode is a lot better, we don&#39;t have gimmicky songs that are trying to loudly tell us what we&#39;re seeing with our own eyes.</p><p>I don&#39;t need &quot;let it snow&quot; playing to know that it&#39;s snowing in the episode, I don&#39;t need &quot;I will always love you&quot; playing to know that a character is in love, I don&#39;t need &quot;under pressure&quot; playing to know that a character is under pressure, etc.</p><p>If you need a song to tell the audience what you&#39;re trying to convey, you&#39;re not conveying it well at worst, or you&#39;re being annoying and redundant at best</p>

That’s the video where the guy was tased right?</p><p>The guy flagging the cops was acting a bit erratic, beckoning them and then trying to run away, he seemed scared that he would be killed, and it seems like the cops mistook the unease for suspiciously elusive behavior.</p><p>Just like the <a class="hashtag" href="https://social.teci.world/tag/georgefloyd" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#GeorgeFloyd</a> case, looked like they got him down and had him under control. He was struggling, but they didn’t need to tase him, they already had the cuffs on, as I understand it.</p><p>Officers seem a bit better at self defense measures than de-escalation measures. I wish they all behaved like the police officers in <a class="hashtag" href="https://social.teci.world/tag/flashpoint" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Flashpoint</a>.</p>

It’s a grand show, and the first TV show I’ve watched that’s entirely not in English!</p><p>I’ve seen foreign shows but they’ve been in English… I’ve seen a bit of <a class="hashtag" href="https://social.teci.world/tag/luther" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Luther</a>, <a class="hashtag" href="https://social.teci.world/tag/sherlock" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Sherlock</a>, <a class="hashtag" href="https://social.teci.world/tag/flashpoint" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Flashpoint</a>, even <a class="hashtag" href="https://social.teci.world/tag/theamazingworldofgumball" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#TheAmazingWorldOfGumball</a> is a Canadian show.</p>
