Now, WHO advises laboratories around the world to reduce the cycle count in PCR testing, which may result in 90% fewer positive cases.

@sociale I remember a caller to @ftl discussed that the creator of the PCR test (Kary Mullis) had warned against using them in this manner, a claim that became fodder for 'fact checkers' - sounds very familiar.
