I'm listening to #Deadline's #StrikeTalk podcast, they're doing a really good job at explaining why #TV shows especially have been ballooning in cost lately, as well as exactly why writers are needed when making a show (I know)
Interesting, #JohnWells, a showrunner and writer for shows like #TheWestTing, #ER, #Shameless and #AnimalKingdom, who has also spoken to #Hollywood executives, towards the end of episode 2 of #StrikeTalk is saying that the entire #HollyWood industry has entered an era of necessary downsizing 
So I'm assuming that #BobIger selling a third of #Disney is just the beginning...
