Working on an article about #Lotide to post from @casey-magazine. I'm starting to get quite frustrated with its lack of federation, this time, with its lack of federation with #Kbin. Federation between #Kbin and #Lotide is quite literally non-existent.
@realcaseyrollins That sounds like it might be a kbin problem: kbin.social is under ddos protection at the moment, and is hardly federating with anything at all. The developer is hard at work to get it up and working normally again, but until then kbin is mostly cut off from the rest of the fediverse.
@realcaseyrollins If you had problems federating Lotide with Kbin before Reddit banned the Kbin subreddit (unleashing chaos), you're probably right that there might be something more Lotide-specific going on. If your problems have occured since, it's probably on the Kbin side.
I would try to respond to you from kbin.social, but the entire instance is down for maintainance at the moment. :)
