The #Tesla seems pretty cool, if I made more money I'd consider getting one; but it wouldn't be as practical as a plug-in hybrid, so I'd probably rather get one of those.
Although, IDK, #Autopilot is cool...

My biggest problem with any newer vehicle, but especially the electric vehicles is the control that the manufacturers keep over them. I stopped using windows because of forced updates. If it is my computer, I will decide what gets installed and when.
Likewise, with Tesla's, they can update the software on your car without your permission. This power will be abused.

My second biggest problem with newer cars (not just electric, though they are the worst offenders) is that they make you pay for subscriptions to allow cars to do something that the car is completely physically capable of doing except they have it disabled in software.
