Statism is alive and well in Croydon, NH where well over half the town's voters came out today to restore the insane school budget of $17,800 per student after it was cut in half earlier this year.

@FreeStateNH still has a lot of work to do. We need thousands more movers ASAP.

@FTL_Ian Yep, turns out the people that live there are statists after all. Who would have seen this coming...

@FTL_Ian A now deceased friend told me almost 20 years ago now while we were visiting NH that you might as well be open about what you're doing for freedom, because they're either going to accept it or not. This budget cut was done in a sneaky way, and was bound to backfire because of the political stronghold teachers have on things.

@creampie he did it at a town meeting, so it was in the open, but the establishment was asleep at the wheel. They sure as hell woke up now.

@FTL_Ian what a sad state of affairs.

"brought cheers from voters followed by tears and embraces."
and a kid was worried that he couldn't have his senior prom.
Didn't the covid nazis take away those activities recently?

@FTL_Ian I'm still proud of Ian Underwood for trying. I'm sure he won't give up. Regarding the need for more libertarians, I'm on my way although I don't know when. I'm hoping for the housing bubble to burst soon so I can afford a place in NH w/o a mortgage. It's driving me crazy waiting. I already feel a resident.
